International Projects
We have supported a boys orphanage in Tecate, Mexico. Members have constructed building additions, refurbished and furnished a trailer to be used as a community health clinic, purchased and delivered thousands of pounds of food, and provided thousands of Spanish language books for local Mexican libraries
Blues Lab Project
At the Guadalupe Center in Canoga Park, this lab helps tteach neighborhood youth how to play the blues. In teaching music and instrumental skills, the children learn the meaning of cooperation, team spirit, how to rely on each other and many other social skills that will benefit them the rest of their lives.
Literacy Project 2007
In memory of Ed Anderson, our club has implemented a Literacy program by collecting gently used books from members, family and friends, as well as at Concerts in the Park in July. Books are distributed by working with "Reading by 9" (www.latimes.com/extras/readingby9/who.html ), Fullbright Elementary School, Guadalupe Center and potentially Wonders of Reading (www.wondersofreading.org).

Holiday Gifts Program
Each year in December the Club donates and delivers over 400 gifts to the first and second graders at a local elementary school. Watching the faces of these children light up when they receive a gift from "Santa" is priceless.
Taft High School Interact Club
Interact is the Rotary-sponsored service club for high school aged youth. The program gives these young people an opportunity to participate in the fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.
Coffee Fundraiser
By roasting, grinding and packaging premium coffee, our club can help other not-for-profits raise money while making money for our own projects. (It helps to have a coffee roaster as a member of the club).

Social Functions
The club hosts many social functions throughout the year; progressive dinners, mixers, road rallies, whitewater rafting and many others.
